To compete in the 2018 pageant, you must:

• Be an American citizen.

• Be between the ages of 13 and 17,

• Contestants must be a minimum of thirteen (13) years of age on the first day of the State competition

• Contestants may not turn Eighteen (18) years of age on or before July 31 of the Year of the National Finals in which she will compete.

• Have always been a female, who has never been married or pregnant.

• Live or work full-time in Iosco County for at least six months or attend school full-time in Michigan

• Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization.

• Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements.

• Contestants may not have graduated from high school before the Miss America's Outstanding Teen National Finals, except for 16 year olds (or younger) who graduated early.

35%---Talent competition

25%---Evening Wear and Onstage Question

15%---Lifestyle and fitness in Active Wear

• Opening Number Outfit:  TBA

• Interview should be age appropriate, NO Jeans.

• Talent: 90 Seconds

• Active Wear: White Tennis Shoes, shorts (any color but black), and a workout top. No boobs,butts, or bellies. 

• Evening gown should be age appropriate, please be aware of slit height.
